Best Internet & Broadband

National high-speed internet and broadband provider, digital TV provider and home phone services provider Comcast employs more than 700 in the Pikes Peak region, making it one of the top 20 employers in the area, according to Comcast of Colorado.

“Through Internet Essentials, our low-cost internet service for low-income families, we’ve connected more than 8,000 individuals and their families in Southern Colorado,” Comcast of Colorado’s website states.

Comcast provides services to 97 percent of businesses in Colorado Springs and has donated to multiple organizations throughout the region, such as the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, Pikes Peak Library District Foundation and Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado.

“Comcast is built on a foundation of working together to innovate, be involved and invest in our communities,” according to its website.

Regarding smaller and up-and-coming internet and broadband companies, Comcast of Colorado said these companies should “continue to pursue innovation, investment and involvement in the future — in your technology, in your employees and in your community.”
