Wag N’ Wash Natural Food & Bakery

Owners Dan Remus and Jeff Straus started Wag N’ Wash Natural Food & Bakery in Colorado Springs 18 years ago with a store on Uintah Street. Their success has spawned two additional stores in Colorado Springs, with two others in Castle Rock and Littleton.

“It’s because of our customers that we’re successful,” said Kara Loehr, the assistant manager of the Uintah store. “We try to build and strengthen that bond between a pet and its guardian.”

As the name suggests, their stores offer much more than dog washing and grooming. They produce healthy treats for dogs and cats, and take the time to educate their customers when it comes to nutrition and toys, along with other products and services.

“We’re a natural pet food store that promotes a healthy lifestyle,” Loehr said. “Every employee is educated in the food and products that we sell. We have amazing customer service.”
