Best Pueblo Place to Work

Kaiser Permanente (Pueblo North Medical Offices)

California-based health care corporation Kaiser Permanente got its start at the tail end of World War II, when industrialist Henry Kaiser and physician Sidney Garfield merged their companies to create what would become an integrated managed care consortium.

With roots planted firmly in the American war effort of the 1940s, Kaiser Permanente continues its dedication to service in communities such as Pueblo.

From its Pueblo North Medical Offices, the company offers a variety of services for the surrounding community, including audiology, family medicine, internal medicine, sleep apnea treatment and more. But that’s not all they do — they’re also one of the area’s best employers.

“We are thrilled to learn that our Pueblo North medical offices were selected as a finalist for CSBJ Best Pueblo Place to Work. This recognition shines the spotlight on our terrific staff in Pueblo who work tirelessly every day taking care of our members,” said Holly Kortum, executive director of Kaiser Permanente for Southern Colorado. “Kaiser Permanente is dedicated to creating and maintaining work environments where all employees are engaged, enabled and empowered to work together as a team.”

“That is a great honor and we’re so proud of our staff,” Kortum added of the award. “Our people are the key to Kaiser Permanente’s success. Our goal is to support and help our workforce thrive, so we can deliver on our mission of providing high quality affordable health care and improving the health of the communities we serve.”
