Since 2001, FOX21 News has been the go-to television news and weather resource for businesses in Southern Colorado — especially in the city of Pueblo.
From an antenna perched atop Cheyenne Mountain, the TV station broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week to Pueblo, Colorado Springs and all of Southern Colorado (air channel 21, Comcast channel 3, DirecTV channel 21, and Dish Network channel 21). Each week, the journalism powerhouse pumps out 38 hours of local news coverage, as well as syndicated FOX network shows and sporting events.
Because of its dedication to serving the Pueblo business community, Best in Business voters this year have selected FOX21 as the best Pueblo TV station for business.
“We are thrilled and humbled to receive this award from voters in Pueblo,” said News Director Joe Cole. “It shows viewers recognize the effort we are making to cover stories that matter to that community.”
This year’s Best in Business award is far from the station’s first: FOX21 has won numerous awards for its programming, including the illustrious Edward R. Murrow Award for Continuing Coverage for their reporting on the 2012 Waldo Canyon fire in the Colorado Springs area.
“[This award] truly does make us feel better to be recognized for the hard work we do as a news team,” said Marketing Manager James Muller.
